PEOPLE’S PARK MARKET
Make a day of it and head out to the south side coast. Walk along Dun Laoghaire's pier and to the famous forty foot diving spot and beach. Head for a famous 99 ice cream at Teddy's and pop to the market stalls in the People’s Park (every Sunday 11-4pm). Finish it off by watching the sunset go down over Killiney bay.

Directions: Leave apartment and turn left. Walk in a straight line along the canal to “Leeson St Bridge” (12 mins). Then take 46a bus (towards Dun Laoghaire) to last stop. To get to Killiney Hill beach: Take 59 bus from Dun Laoghaire town hall to the top of Killiney Hill. This bus only comes once every hour, so check the times in advance.
